The New Atlas

The New Atlas is a collaboration project made with my whole cohort, as a first assignment of my MFA at RISD. We had to collect data from twelve tasks which lead us to explore Providence and its surroundings to then assemble the content and design sixteen pages. I called my section "Taxonomy of the exquisite unfamiliar little things and sports found in New England". The design reflects the array of all the collected content through a system of classification (based on captions and icons). I also played with the hierarchy and juxtapositions of the images, the language and the type.
