I am a Colombian graphic designer, printmaker, and educator based in Providence, RI. I am an Assistant Professor of Communication Design at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt).
I am a partner at buena gráfica social studio, where I work on community oriented projects related with language, culture, social justice, health, education, and environment. To see my latest work, check out the studio website and instagram.
I collaborate with cultural, non-profit, and commercial clients such as AS220, The Steel Yard, The Greenhorns, The ICA Boston, MassDevelopment, Stoltze Design, the RISD Museum, RISD Co-Works, PVD World Music, Rhode Island Department of Health, and the City of Providence.
I hold an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA in Design from the Universidad de los Andes, in my native Bogotá.
I was an AICAD Fellow professor at Moore College of Art and Design, and have taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, and Boston University.
My work has been recognized
by the Type Director’s Club and by the Society of Typographic Arts.
