I am a Colombian graphic designer, printmaker, and educator based in Providence, RI. I am an Associate Professor of Communication Design at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt).
I am a partner at buena gráfica social studio, where I work on community oriented projects related with language, culture, health, and education. To see my latest work, check out the studio website and instagram.
I contribute to the research project Gráfica Latina, a digital, print, and mobile archive of Latin American posters.
I collaborate with cultural, non-profit, and commercial clients such as AS220, The Steel Yard, The Greenhorns, The ICA Boston, MassDevelopment, Stoltze Design, the RISD Museum, RISD Co-Works, PVD World Music, Rhode Island Department of Health, and the City of Providence.
I hold an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA in Design from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.
My work has been recognized
by the Type Director’s Club, Graphis, the Society of Typographic Arts and GDUSA.
